Celebrating its 23rd season of ten-minute entertaining plays, City Theatre’s Summer Shorts, America’s Short Play Festival, is happening throughout the month of June. Tickets start at $39 per person and are available through the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

A four-day event dedicated to bringing awareness of entertainment content made by and about people of African descent to a worldwide audience, the American Black Film Festival is taking place in various theaters across South Beach. Highlights of the 2019 festival include appearances by La La Anthony, Lakeith Stansfield, Damson Idris and more. Festival passes start at $120 per person.
