Miami Entertainment Months: Oct. 1 – Nov. 30

October kicked off the two-month long Miami Entertainment Months and you can continue to enjoy the special events and pricing all through November. Enjoy promotions on everything from craft brewery tastings to movie screenings at state-of-the-art cinemas and more from Miami’s creative entertainers.

LUMINOSA! CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL AT JUNGLE ISLAND: NOW – JAN. 8

It’s here at last – Luminosa! Explore Miami’s landscape from under the sea to the unmistakable flavor of Ocean Drive’s fun filled streets with a magical nighttime journey through Jungle Island sa you have never seen it before; strewn with hand-crafted Chinese lanterns. These colorful lanterns will be your guide, taking you and your whole family through an exploration of wildlife, birds, and blooms in honor of Miami’s lush natural environment starting with beautiful Biscayne Bay. Wind your way through an underwater tapestry filled with fish, turtles and manatees, culminating in a visit to a very “Instagrammable” South Beach, filled with the music and food and imagery that is iconic to the area. This is a truly magical event you won’t want to miss.

Santa’s Enchanted Forest: Oct. 31 – Jan. 5

The largest holiday theme park in the world, Santa’s Enchanted Forest returns this season at Miami’s Tropical Park. Enjoy carnival rides, shows, games, a 92-foot tall Christmas tree and more than three million Christmas lights. Ride the Ferris wheel, a roller coaster or play in a fun house. Single day and season passes are available. Children ages 2 and under are free. The park is open from November until the beginning of January 2019 and is a can’t miss tradition for the holiday season.

Miami Book Fair International: Nov. 17-24

Miami proudly hosts the annual Miami Book Fair International, one of the country’s premier literary events. More than 450 authors visit for readings and discussions of their work. The walkable Street Fair also includes antiquarians, illustrators, publishers and authors onsite. Founded in 1984, each year the Book Fair includes celebrity authors and literary juggernauts who visit to enjoy Miami’s brisk November weather and celebrate literature new and old.

NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend: Nov. 15 – 17

Rev up your engines for the NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship Ford EcoBoost 400 will name three champions over the multi-day event. More than 200 countries can watch on television as the event is broadcast – but you can be there in person! It all comes down to the 2019 Ford EcoBoost 400 on November 17th. Tickets start at $55 per person for Grandstand tickets and special ticketing opportunities like pre-race pit passes are available.

Celebrity Beach Soccer Match: Nov. 23

For an afternoon of fun in the sun, celebrity watching and supporting a good cause, buy your tickets for the Celebrity Soccer Match benefiting Best Buddies on Saturday, November 23 on the North Beach Bandshell. Models, athletes, influencers and comedians will compete alongside their buddies to raise money for this great cause.

Thanksgiving: Nov. 28

Circuit Festival Miami: Nov. 28 – Dec. 2

Circuit Festival Miami is the Thanksgiving weekend “ultimate gay dance festival getaway,” with parties happening throughout Miami and Miami Beach. Partygoers convene from around the globe to bond spiritually, socially and musically.

Miami Lantern Light Festival: Nov. 30 – Jan. 20

Join in a six-week celebration of Chinese culture at the Miami Lantern Light Festival at the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition. Lanterns by some of the world’s best artisans and makers will be on display and lit to showcase the tremendous work and talent that it takes to create each piece – some lanterns are up to 300 feet long!
